T.F GREEN AIRPORT (PVD) FALL SERVICE UPDATE

Fall & Winter includes service to Seven Florida destinations, “first flights” for JetBlue and daily United Airlines flights to Newark, NJ  

WARWICK, RI – October 1, 2020 – The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) today announced fall and winter route updates for T.F. Green Airport (PVD).  Scheduled service includes the return of daily United Airlines service to Newark, NJ, and expanded service to several Florida destinations including Fort Lauderdale and Orlando including the launch of new JetBlue service to Tampa and Fort Myers plus the resumption of West Palm Beach on October 1, 2020, and a new route to Miami on Frontier Airlines, announced to begin on December 17, 2020.

 (Note – Air Canada and Delta Airlines have suspended service to PVD until further notice.  Sun Country Airlines has concluded seasonal service until the spring.

T. F. Green airport continues enhanced sanitizing protocols throughout the airport, utilizing EPA and CDC approved hospital grade disinfectants, electrostatic sprayers, and automated cleaning technology to efficiently and effectively sanitize escalator railings and other high touch areas throughout the terminal. Free face coverings are also now available at airline counters, security check points and airport information desks. Passengers are also being encouraged to check with individual airline policies regarding COVID-19 policies, including facemask requirements. Updated links to airline specific COVID-19 travel alerts and safety requirements, are available on T.F. Green’s website at www.PVDAirport.com.

Announcements and signage throughout the airport also remind travelers to respect state and local health advisories regarding COVID-19, reminding passengers at T.F. Green Airport of Rhode Island’s executive orders to wear face coverings in public settings, and the need to continue 14 day self-quarantine requirements for individuals who return to Rhode Island after international travel or domestic travel from regions that have extended stay-at-home orders (public health, public safety, and healthcare workers are exempt.)
