Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport has earned 22 national awards since 2017

Warwick, RI – October 7, 2026 – Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) has once again been recognized among the nation’s best airports, earning 8th place in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards and extending a sustained record of national recognition.

The 2026 honor marks the sixth consecutive year PVD has been ranked among the nation’s Top 10 airports by Condé Nast Traveler. It also represents the airport’s 22nd national recognition since 2017, a period in which PVD has repeatedly been recognized by Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, USA Today and other national publications.

The latest recognition follows PVD being named the No. 1 airport in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards in both 2025 and 2026, demonstrating a sustained record of national recognition across multiple independent reader surveys.

“What is most significant is not any single award, but the consistency,” said Iftikhar Ahmad, president and CEO, Rhode Island Airport Corporation. “For nearly a decade, travelers and national publications have repeatedly recognized Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport among the best airports in the country. Twenty-two national recognitions since 2017 reflect years of sustained performance and the work of the entire airport community.”

More than 520,000 submissions were received for Condé Nast Traveler’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards, which recognize travelers’ experiences with airports, destinations and other travel organizations. PVD’s 2026 ranking continues a six-year run among Condé Nast Traveler’s Top 10 U.S. airports.
