“Our time together is hassle-free. PVD, you’re the only airport for me!”

Warwick, RI – October 3, 2024 – Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) was pleased to recently welcome Nancy and Jonathan Kenney, winners of the airport’s Valentine’s Day “Love Poem” contest, as they embarked on a romantic weekend getaway to Savannah, Georgia! This past February, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation invited social media followers to express their love for PVD in a short Valentine’s Day video, “Love Poem,” about flying to and from PVD.

Nancy’s poem was selected as the most “loving” entry, earning her two tickets to Savannah, GA, via Breeze Airways and gift certificates for a hotel and rental car to complete the romantic getaway!

Nancy’s “Ode to PVD” reads:

“Exit 13 – I’m almost there!

You and I make a great pair.

Departing or landing, I’d love to see you

Say you’ll be mine forever, boo

Our time together is hassle-free

PVD – you’re the only airport for me!”
