Warwick, RI – December 20, 2022 – The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) is holding an Open House on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 to provide an opportunity for Warwick residents, and other interested parties, to learn about the South Cargo Project. The meeting will be held at the Warwick Municipal Annex Community Room at 65 Centerville Road from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

- The proposed project will be constructed on airport property on the South side of the airport, including portions of Long Term Parking Lot E;
- The proposed project is expected to increase daily air cargo arrivals by 1-2 flights per day; and
- Studies are underway to determine potential traffic, visual, and noise impacts and to coordinate mitigating measures.
