Pre Check takes off at PVD

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation would like to announce TSA Pre Check at T.F Green Airport (PVD). TSA Pre Check allows select frequent flyers of participating airlines and members of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler programs who are flying on participating airlines, to receive expedited screening benefits. Eligible participants use dedicated screening lanes for screening benefits which include leaving on shoes, light outerwear and belts, as well as leaving laptops and 3-1-1 compliant liquids in carry-on bags. For those who wish to apply to be part of the TSA Pre-Check program, that option is now available.  

UES (Universal Enrollment Service) Enrollment Center is a DHS initiative and handles the enrollment of several processes to include HSE, TWIC, and TSA Pre-checkThe enrollment center is @ 405 Kilvert Street, Warwick, RI.  

What’s the preferred process:
Go to www.TSA.gov
Select the Pre-check tab
Select the location of the enrollment center, follow the directions, and pay the fee

Once you pre-enroll and your application is processed you can go to the UES for the in-person part of the process to include finger prints.  There is a list of identification documents needed to bring to the UES.  There is also a link to be able to check the status of your application on the pre-check part of the TSA website
