GOVERNOR REQUESTS THAT RETURNING DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS SELF-QUARANTINE FOR 14 DAYS

RHODE ISLAND AIRPORT CORPORATION UPDATED STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS Governor Requests that Returning Domestic and International Passengers Self-Quarantine for 14 Days

WARWICK, RI –, March 24, 2020 – At the request of Governor Raimondo,  the Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) issued an updated statement summarizing the latest Executive Order of the Governor requiring additional efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (also known as “2019 novel coronavirus.”)

“To keep Rhode Islanders and our visitors safe, anyone returning to Rhode Island following international or domestic airplane travel is required to immediately self-quarantine for 14 days.  Everyone should continue frequent handwashing and practice social distancing.  For more information on the coronavirus, please visit the Rhode Island Department of Health website at www.Health.RI.Gov.”

Upon arrival at T.F. Green Airport members of the Rhode Island National Guard will brief travelers on the Governor’s Executive Order.
