The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) anticipates an increase in passenger traffic at T.F. Green Airport for the upcoming April vacation/spring break, which runs Friday April 13 through Sunday, April 22nd

To coincide with this busy travel time, the Airport will host a Family Fun Day with various events taking place throughout the airport terminal on Friday, April 13th.

Pass through the security checkpoint between 10:00am and 1:00pm and stop by the Giveaway table. Enter-to-win Paw Sox tickets and grab a baseball themed snack.

Rhode Island’s Pow!Science! will be near Gate 12. Pow!Science! owner and Master Builder, Eric Bulmer, will be constructing a small city with CitiBlocs. Stop by and learn how to build a plane using these unique blocks. Part of the fun of CitiBlocs construction is knocking the structures down following the build. The CitiBlocs city will remain on display throughout school vacation week and be demolished with the help of travelers in the airport on Friday afternoon April 21st.    Paw Sox mascot Paws will be walking through the terminal, greeting travelers and taking photos on Friday from 3pm to 4pm.
To meet customer demand during this busy travel time, Delta has upgraded certain Atlanta flights to 757’s to allow for additional seating capacity.

Passengers are encouraged to allow extra time to get to the airport early to park and get through the security checkpoint. Travelers can also park on-airport and receive special rates ranging as low as $10 per day to $50 per week. For more information and a discount coupon, visit www.parkpvdairport.com.
