TEN FLORIDA DESTINATIONS AVAILABLE FROM RHODE ISLAND T. F. GREEN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT THIS WINTER

PVD now offers more Florida destinations than Logan

Warwick, RI – August 19, 2024 – With the recent announcement from Breeze Airways of service to Daytona Beach, Florida, beginning in February 2025, Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) now offers travelers a selection of ten nonstop Florida destinations, more than Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Florida destinations at PVD include Daytona Beach, Punta Gorda, and Vero Beach, three nonstop routes not currently available from BOS.

Current nonstop destinations available from PVD are:

  • Daytona Beach (Breeze Airways, available 2x/week starting 2/14)
  • Fort Myers (Breeze Airways available 4x/week until 9/30, 8x/week starting 10/1, and 11x/week starting 1/8; JetBlue 1x/day starting 10/28; Southwest Airlines available 4x/week starting 2/13)
  • Fort Lauderdale (JetBlue 1x/day until 10/23; 2x/day from 10/24 – 3/29; Southwest Airlines available 11/23, 11/30, 12/21, 12/28; and 1/4; and 4x/week from 2/13 – 3/2)
  • Jacksonville (Breeze Airways, available 5x/week until 9/3; 2x/week from 9/4 – 9/30; 3x/week from 10/1 -1/7; 2x/week effective 1/8)
  • Orlando (Breeze Airways available 1x/day until 9/3; 5x/week from 9/4 – 10/1; 8x/week from 10/2 – 1/7; 10x/week from 1/8 – 2/11; 8x/week effective 2/12; JetBlue available 1x/day until 10/26; 2x/day from 12/27 – 2/12; 3x/day from 2/13 – 2/24; 2x/day effective 2/25, Southwest Airlines available 3x/day (4x on Sat) until 11/2; 3x/day from 11/3 – 1/6; 2x/day (3x on Sat, Sun) from 1/7 – 2/12; 3x/day (5x on Sat) effective 2/13
  • Punta Gorda (Allegiant Air available 2x/week until 11/20; 3x/week effective 11/21, and 1x/day starting 2/12)
  • Sarasota/Bradenton (Breeze Airways available 2x/week until 9/30; 4x/week from 10/1 – 1/7; 1x/day effective 1/8)
  • Tampa (Breeze Airways available 2x/week until 2/11; 5x/week effective 2/12, JetBlue available 1x/day starting 10/27; Southwest Airlines available 1x/day until 2/12; 2x/day (1x on Mon, Tue, Wed) effective 2/13)
  • Vero Beach (Breeze Airways available 2x/week until 09/30; 4x/week from 10/1 – 10/31; 5x/week from 11/1 – 1/17, 1x/day effective 1/6 )
  • West Palm Beach (Breeze Airways 1-stop through service via Charleston): 2x/week starting 10/4; JetBlue available 1x/day until 9/3; 5x/week from 9/4 – 10/8; 1x/day from 10/9 – 10/23; 2x/day from 10/24 – 3/30; 1x/day effective 3/31); Southwest Airlines 1x/week starting 1/11 until 2/12; 4x/week effective 2/13)

PVD also recently welcomed JetBlue’s news of daily service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, beginning on October 28, 2024. Flights to San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) are currently scheduled to depart PVD each morning and return to Rhode Island each evening. SJU also offers connecting service to several Caribbean destinations, such as St. Croix and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, and the Dominican Republic, as well as flights to other airports in Puerto Rico, including Culebra, Mayagüez, and Vieques.
