NONSTOP TO DENVER AMONG THE NEWEST ROUTES FOR RHODE ISLAND T. F. GREEN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Nonstop to Puerto Rico, as well as nonstop and direct West Coast flights now available for booking

Warwick, RI – May 16, 2024 – The Rhode Island Airport Corporation today welcomed the launch of nonstop flights to Denver, Colorado provided by Breeze Airways. The new service from Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) to Denver International Airport (DEN) is now available on Thursdays and Sundays. Breeze Airways will increase frequency to four times weekly during the summer travel season of June through early September.

Service to Denver is the latest nonstop route available at PVD. Last week, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation also welcomed JetBlue’s news of daily service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, beginning on October 28, 2024. Flights to San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) are currently scheduled to depart PVD at 7:00 a.m., with the return flight arriving at 10:24 p.m. in Rhode Island. SJU also offers connecting service to several Caribbean destinations such as St. Croix and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, the Dominican Republic, as well as flights to other airports in Puerto Rico including Culebra, Mayagüez, and Vieques.

Breeze Airways recently launched daily same-plane one-stop flights, called “BreezeThru service”, to Los Angeles and San Diego, California.In addition, Breeze Airways will launch seasonal nonstop flights to Los Angeles on June 13, 2024, offered three times weekly through September 1, 2024.

Beginning on June 8, 2024, Southwest Airlines will also offer two new nonstop routes at PVD, a seasonal Saturday service to Dallas, Texas (DAL/Love Field) that will operate until the end of September and up to four weekly flights to Denver (DEN – Denver International Airport).

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation reminds the public that Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport is also in the running for the Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) Readers’ Choice Awards.
