The Rhode Island Airport Corporation will provide a demonstration of a new device to its enhanced airport cleaning arsenal.  Starting this week T. F. Green Airport has begun utilizing NuvaWave’s UVC Handheld Device developed by Innovators, LLC.  The medical-grade technology will be used as a supplement to disinfect ‘high touch’ surface areas to make them germ-free. The potent, powerful UV light technology is uniquely lethal to microorganisms and pathogens causing Healthcare Acquired Infections and has been independently tested to kill >99.9% of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in 2 seconds.
